Recently, my husband and I undertook the unique services of Kristen George to begin the process of building our dream home.  

In the beginning, the dream home quickly became a daunting task when contemplating how to initiate such a project.  Kristen came highly recommended to us as someone who would quickly and confidently get us on track in choosing an architect and providing sound knowledge on the various stages of such a project.    

Kristen listened to our plans, asked pointed questions that steered us into better understanding of the scope and gave us realistic expectations.  After that initial meeting, we spent time with Kristen stepping through various Architects' profiles before deciding upon whom to meet with in a face to face meeting.  Kristen accompanied us to these initial meetings, which I found extremely reassuring, having never gone through the process.    

I think the most interesting outcome of dealing with Kristen, is how "right" she got the architects, even to a point where it was difficult to make that final choice.  Not only was the style of architecture important to us, but most importantly, how the architect(s) interacted with us as individuals.  She met every aspect of our criteria.

I now feel extremely confident with our path forward.  I would absolutely recommend Kristen's services to anyone contemplating any residential design change – her sound advice and depth of knowledge is something that you just cannot research yourself.

My wife and I have just had the pleasure of dealing with Kristen George of Design Selection.

When we decided to make a substantial alteration to our house it was clear that we needed the services of an architect for design and project management. But, we neither knew any architects personally, nor knew how to find and assess suitable candidates. In fact, the one thing we did know for sure, was that choosing the right one would be vital. We wrangled with this problem, until we came across Kristen's ad in the Yellow Pages.

She visited our house, listened to us carefully, made several really good suggestions and instantly seemed to understand what we were trying to achieve. Within a day she returned with a selection of architects' portfolios, and discussed their work and relative strengths with us. And while we would have been happy to employ any of the architects Kristen put forward, one company in particular seemed to be exactly on our wavelength.

Kristen attended the initial briefing with the architect we chose and made plenty of useful contributions in that meeting too. We are now mid-way through the design process and we are 100% happy with how things are going.

Kristen has a genuine passion for her industry and is extremely knowledgable - on who's who in the business and the work they've done. We also found her to be an excellent listener who never tried to force her opinions on us.

With Kristen's guidance anyone contemplating architectural work of any magnitude can take that crucial first step - choosing their architect - in total confidence.
